Locks of Love Donation

Lock of Love

Life Opportunities Unlimited (LOU) and South Shore Industries (SSI) participant Margo C. recently decided to give back. She cut several inches off of her long brown hair to donate to Locks of Love. According to their website, “Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.” As Margo demonstrates, people with developmental disabilities are not always the recipient of services – they give back to others, too!
