Introducing The Local Artisan Series
Hosted at the Unique Boutique Open Art Studio: The Cushing MarketPlace’s inspiring open-concept art studio.
Class Description: Let Spring be your muse! Dive into the world of art by illustrating and animating your own characters, sculpting a 3D clay mini world, creating collages, painting, and collaborating on group art projects. Students will deepen their understanding of basic art fundamentals, explore a variety of mediums, and enhance their creative thinking skills.

Taught by Laura Glassman: Laura is an artist and art educator with a family legacy in the arts. Specializing in charcoal and chalk pastels, she focuses on animals and portraits. A Massachusetts College of Art and Design graduate with a BFA in Art Education, she has taught students of all ages, including children with autism and disabled veterans. She is currently teaching at the Quincy and Milton Art Associations. Passionate about mentoring young artists, Laura uses the TAB (Teaching for Artistic Behavior) philosophy to foster creativity and self-expression.
PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND ALL WORKSHOPS THAT WILL TAKE PLACE WEDNESDAY, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, and 5/28.
