Cardinal Cushing Centers to host Celebration of Lights ceremony

Cardinal Cushing Centers’ annual Celebration of Lights Ceremony will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 10, on the hill in front of the Portiuncula Chapel. Caroling, stories, and holiday cheer will kick off the celebration. Lights will be turned on promptly at 5:30 p.m.

This year, to add to the beauty of the light design by the Cushing maintenance department and the traditional nativity scene and menorah, Sullivan Tire has donated a 4-foot ice sculpture. Each year, Sullivan Tire offers this holiday delight to a small number of selected organizations during the holiday season. The sculpture artist also produces work for the Rockefeller Center and Trump Properties in New York City. READ MORE»
