VP of Human Resources, Marybeth Hasenfuss Panelist

Vice President of Human Resources, Marybeth Hasenfuss served on the Human Resource Group: South Shore Chamber of Commerce panel for a “Developing Job Descriptions: What Companies Need to Know” seminar. With over 32 years of experience in all aspects of Human Resources, Marybeth brought her expertise to this discussion. The seminar focused on how to draft job descriptions and how they may be helpful to businesses.

A brief excerpt from the seminar:
A job description is a tool used to hire, measure and manage the performance of each of your employees.  They must be current, clear and compliant.  Come learn why companies should have job descriptions, and what to include and more importantly, not include in a job description.  Job descriptions are important documents to be used for pre-employment, hiring, evaluating employees, worker’s compensation, disability related matters, disciplinary issues, and may also be used as a defense against discrimination or wrongful termination claims.
