The Giving Spirit

The Critch Family

Two days before Christmas, the Critch family decided to bring some holiday cheer to the students at Cardinal Cushing Centers despite their own mixed emotions this holiday season – the first without Ian. When Ian, a resident of Carver and a graduate of Cardinal Cushing Centers, passed away last month at the age of 24, his younger sister Rebecca Delph decided she wanted to do a fund raiser for the students at Cardinal Cushing Centers in Hanover in memory of her brother. Becky’s father helped to arrange her fund raiser at his worksite, Entergy.  Together they raised $900.00 used to purchase gift cards to the Hanover Mall to give to the students for Christmas.

Cardinal Cushing Centers would also like to extend a warm and heartfelt thank you to all of our friends and neighbors who made this holiday season extra special for our students and adults: Rockland Trust, ING, Mobility Services International, the Canterbury School, and other local community members.
