Cushing Centers Volunteers a Real Plus at COA

Hanover — Both the Hanover Council on Aging (COA) and the Cardinal Cushing Centers are reaping the benefits of a volunteer program bringing the two organizations together.

Clients of the Cushing Centers Adult Day Habilitation program, Life Opportunities Unlimited, have been putting in some hours a couple of times a week participating in the Meals on Wheels program and helping out at the senior center. 

“It’s been wonderful having them here,” said Council on Aging Director Robyn Mitton of the Cushing volunteers.  “They’ve been doing a great job delivering the meals to our homebound seniors, and they are a pleasure to have here at the center.” READ MORE >>
