ART is for EVERYONE: South Shore Non-Profits Collaborate

Cardinal Cushing Centers, Friendship Home and the South Shore YMCA are pleased to announce ART is for Everyone, an art show and sale to be held on Friday, August 10th from 10am to 5pm at the South Shore Natural Science Center, 48 Jacobs Lane, Norwell.

All proceeds benefit camp, exercise and art programs for people with disabilities. Artwork on display provided by professional artists as well as the students and adults with disabilities served by Friendship Home, Cardinal Cushing Centers, and the South Shore YMCA. In addition, projects created by campers from South Shore YMCA Camps’ Gordon Clark and the South Shore Natural Science Center will be on display.

All are welcome to attend this public event, free of charge, to support the combined efforts and missions of these organizations: to help individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages live full, meaningful and healthy lives.

Event sponsors include Rockland Trust and the South Shore Bank. A pre-show reception will feature music by the Norwell Alumni Jazz Band, a special art demonstration by Sergio Roffo as well as hors d’oeuvres provided by the culinary teams from Cardinal Cushing Centers and Friendship Home.
