Residential Services
Residential life provides opportunities for students to extend their learning beyond the classroom and employment environments. Students live in three to seven bedroom homes in our beautifully landscaped neighborhood. Our goal is to empower each student with the skills to live as independently as possible, maximizing his/her potential to enjoy a healthy, happy and safe life, as a productive member of their community.
- Beautifully landscaped 40 acres located in Southeastern Massachusetts
- Home like residences with large living and dining room, fully equipped kitchen, multiple bathrooms and spacious single or double bedrooms
- Independent Living Skills based curriculum which focuses on personal hygiene, health and wellness, cooking, laundry and other household care skills
- Staff to student ratios range from 1:2-1:5
Comprehensive school and community based enrichment programs, which include:
- Hanover YMCA
- Interscholastic sports teams which include intramural/skills teams, junior varsity and varsity
- Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts
- Special Olympics (soccer, flag football, track and field, basketball, soft ball, nordic skiing, cheerleading, volleyball, swimming, weightlifting)
- Clubs (scrapbooking, comic books, weight lifting, fashion, library, woodworking, walking, hiking, cooking, biking, yearbook)
