COVID 19 President Update May 8
Good Morning Cushing Community,
Today we will count our blessings.
We received word from South Shore Hospital that 26 of our 30 tests were NEGATIVE. We are still awaiting test results on an additional 4 students.
Adult Services also received 3 additional NEGATIVE test results yesterday.
I want to thank all of you for your vigilant and responsible behavior during this pandemic. These test results are proof that we are doing all that we can to keep our community safe.
I also want to take the time to remind everyone that although we have received this wonderful news, we must not become lax with our PPE during shift. This is the what keeps EVERYONE SAFE – The individuals we support and ourselves
- Masks must be worn at all times. In order for masks to be effective in preventing the transmission of illness they MUST COVER YOUR NOSE AND MOUTH
o THIS APPLIES TO ALL STAFF WORKING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY WITH THOSE THAT WE SUPPORT
o Please label your mask and wash it regularly
o Please notify your manager if you would like to wear an additional surgical mask under your cloth mask.
- We will make sure Adult Services group homes have inventory
- Student Services will have access to inventory via their supervisor and/or health center
- Please alert your manager immediately if you are in need of cleaning supplies or hand sanitizer
- Please do not come to work if you are feeling ill
- Please report any exposure you may have had to someone who has tested positive for COVID to Human Resources IMMEDIATELY 781-829-1216.
o Administration needs to know this information in order to keep our community safe.
